Hello There! I'm Elaine

Blogger / Tea Buyer

I’m a Teochew girl with a penchant for sipping on Phoenix Dancong tea. My ancestor was once the the son-in-law (known as “fuma” in Chinese) of a Song Dynasty emperor. Thanks to him, my hometown became steeped in tea culture. In memory of his legacy, I named my blog “fuma.”

In Guangdong, tea holds a special place in everyone’s heart. When I grew up, I became a tea buyer, which made it easier for me to taste tea from all over the world. My house is practically overflowing with souvenirs from my travels, especially tea&teaware. Yet, my passion never wanes.

It’s not just the exquisite taste of tea that captivates me – it’s the rich tapestry of culture woven into every cup. Through this blog, I’m excited to share my tea journeys with all of you, inviting you to delve deeper into the very cup of tea you hold in your hands.
